What we
see.
And what we don’t see.
|
|
CAN WE
SEE
THE HEART/SPIRIT ?
|
|
The data, for this section on hearts/spirits, is from:
1) All of Jesus’ biblical interactions with everyone
(those who loved him
and those who hated him).
2) All of Jesus’ preaching.

As I explained, on the previous webpage, How Judgment works,
we cannot,
even God cannot,
see bad brain cells.
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
That’s
because many brain cells that do bad,
at other times, do good.
And vice versa.
|
|
However, God can see,
even we can see,
the behaviour that the
brain produces.
See third & fourth cells
of earlier section: HEART/SPIRIT & SOUL.,,,,,
A person’s behaviour is a
mixture of
good behaviour and bad behaviour,
all of which is produced by
the soul.
So, when you’re
seeing someone’s behaviour
you are ‘seeing’ their soul.
|
|
|
|
|
.
|
|
But
can we ‘see’ their hearts/spirits too?
|
|
|
|
|
In
the webpage before last
Jesus’ use of the words ‘heart’ ’righteous’ and ‘wicked’,,,,,,
I
say that God can ‘see’ people’s hearts/spirits.
But it’s obvious that very
few of us
can see people’s hearts/spirits.
What
most of us see is:
Behaviour that
might be
the heart/spirit expressing itself, through the soul.
But it might
equally be
merely the soul, on its own, expressing
itself.
We’ve no way of telling which.
|
|
.
|
|
For
most of us: the soul, in effect, hides the heart/spirit.
Hence we ‘see’ only the
soul,
‘see’ everyone as various
shades of grey.
|
|
|
|
|
A
person’s culture, or cultures,
is the outer layer of their
soul.
And some people’s layer of
culture(s) is so thick
that it hides, not only
their heart/spirit,
but the rest of the soul
too.
, , Perhaps see earlier section: ABOUT CULTURES.,,,,,
|
|
.
|
|
Actually I think some people can ‘see’ hearts/spirits.
But very few,
and they’re not sure what they’re seeing,
not sure what they’re looking at.
‘Seeing’ someone’s heart/spirit
is seeing
whether they’re inside out or not:
something you either see
straight away or not at all.
, , For more on seeing hearts/spirits
, , see seventh cell (starting Empathy, which is
within)
, , of later section: GOD’S KIND OF LOVE (AGAPE LOVE
, , AND MERE HUMAN, NATURAL, LOVE.
|
|
, , Perhaps also see later section:
, , OTHER,
INCIDENTAL, DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PAUL & JESUS
, , and its three subsections.
If you think you can ‘see’ other people’s hearts/spirits
then see later section:
, FOUR REASONS WHY WE SHOULDN’T TRY
, , TO JUDGE OTHER PEOPLE’S HEARTS/SPIRITS, , , , .
|
|
.
|
|
If
you cannot ‘see’ other people’s
hearts/spirits
, , Nor see when a demon is speaking through
someone.
, , Matt c16 v21-23 Mark c8 v31-33.
but you need to,
for safety reasons,
then simply ask God to tell you what you cannot ‘see’.
Like Ananias did, regarding
Saul.
Acts c9 v10-22:
Ananias asked God to tell
him
whether or not Saul was a
danger to him. my abbn

The parable,
commonly called The prodigal son,
(last two thirds of Luke c15)
is about a
father and his two sons.
The father represents God.
The two sons represent us.
It’s an interesting parable
because, as you read through it,
the three characters:
the human father,
the younger son,
the older son,
each eventually reveal their
hearts/spirits
as the story progresses.
And their hearts/spirits are each:
Not what you’d expect them to
be.
Indeed, are the opposite of
what you’d expect
them to be,
the opposite of what their souls
had been
like.
, , As for what
this parable tells us about God:
, , perhaps see
later section: GOD’S
WORDS ON SIN,,,,,,
, , and the
links within it.

FOR A WHILE
THE SOUL MAY BE THE OPPOSITE
OF THE HEART/SPIRIT
|
|
Currently:
the soul may be different
to, even opposite to, the heart/spirit.
But, eventually:
the heart/spirit
makes the soul to be just like itself.
|
|
Hence Moses, David, Paul, & Peter, all star in the Bible,
even wrote much of the Bible.
Yet:
o Moses had
murdered, Exo c2 v11-12,,,,,
, That’s why he fled to
the land of Midian, to hide,
Exo c2 v13-15,,,,,
, where God later spoke to him through a burning bush: Exo c2 v16 – c4 v20,,,,,
o David had murdered,,,,,
and committed adultery, 2 Sam c11 v1 – c12 v25,,,,,
o Paul had murdered,
Acts c6 v1 – c9 v2 Acts c22 v4 Acts c22 v19-20
1 Cor c15 v9 1 Tim c1 v15,,,
o Peter, though standing next to Jesus
and having heard all of
Jesus’ preaching
on loving your enemies,
tried to cut someone’s head
off.
Though Peter was a
fisherman, he had a sword,
and cut off the ear of
one of those sent to arrest Jesus.
He was probably aiming
for the head or neck
since it’s hard to cut
off an ear.
And the sword was sharp
so Jesus’ command to
stop was timely.
John c18 v10-11 and:
Luke c22 v35-38 & v47-51 combined.
|
|
To conclude:
Currently:
the soul may be different
to, even opposite to, the heart/spirit.
But, eventually:
the heart/spirit
makes the soul to be just like itself.

DO YOU KNOW GOD
YET?
|
|
If you find it hard to accept:
that Moses, David, Paul,
& Peter,
did such wrongs as adultery,
murder, & attempted murder,
then you might only know about God,
might not yet know God.
|
|
To help you know God:
Notice that Moses, David,
Paul & Peter,
did not remain in error.
They repented, gladly served
God,
and (certainly Moses, Paul,
& Peter)
consequently did great things
for God.
God is:
eager to redeem us,
eager to Forgive us & give us
purpose.
|
|
For
God looks at the heart/spirit
not the soul.
God is not like the world.
