Resolving
the contradictions
|
|
JESUS SPOKE TO ONLY
HEARTS/SPIRITS
& RENEWED MINDS
|
|
On the previous
webpage I showed three kinds of contradictions:
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
1) The
big contradiction
between Judgment and Forgiveness:
Humbly
doing good & not bad
causes
us to go to
Heaven when we die.
contradicts:
Gratitude
for our new eternal life
causes
us to humbly do
good & not bad.
2) The
lesser contradiction
between Judgment and Forgiveness:
You must earn
your way into Heaven,
albeit humbly,
and you can be of
any religion or none.
contradicts:
What
you’ve done doesn’t matter
but you must be a
Christian.
3a) The contradiction within Judgment:
Most people have done varying
amounts
of both good and bad.
So Judgment,
God Judging us
according to what we have done,
would be, for
those not quite good enough,
too unjust for a
just God to do.
So Judgment is
impossible.
3b) The contradiction within Forgiveness:
God
will send, to Hell,
those who’ve
simply never heard/read/seen
the gospel convincingly
presented.
This would be too
unjust for a just God to do.
So Forgiveness,
too, is impossible.

The un-renewed
mind
sees these contradictions
as contradictions:
sees:
do good, & not
bad, so you to go to Heaven
&:
do great bad, but
later be sorry, so you go to Heaven
as:
contradictory,
cannot both be true.
But the renewed mind, and
indeed the heart/spirit,
see these contradictions
as not contradictions:
sees:
do
good, & not bad, so you go to Heaven
&:
do great bad, but
later be sorry, so you go to Heaven
as:
somehow both
true.

JESUS
SPOKE
THROUGH THE MIND
TO THE HEART/SPIRIT
|
|
|
Jesus spoke:
not to the mind
but through the mind,
to the heart/spirit.
|
|
|
|
heart/spirit soul
mind Jesus’ spoken words
|
|
|
To the un-renewed mind
World makes sense
to: mind not heart/spirit.
Jesus makes sense to: heart/spirit not mind.
To the renewed mind:
World makes sense to: heart/spirit
and mind.
Jesus makes
sense to: heart/spirit
and mind.

WHAT IS A
RENEWED MIND?
|
|
|
The
gospel is the good news
that Jesus was Punished in place of all of us:
His Punishment made all our
sins (before God) vanish
even though all our wrongs
(before each other) remain.
, Perhaps see earlier section: WHY
WAS JESUS EXECUTED?
, and
, later section: THE TWO ACCOUNTS, , , ,

|
|
You
become a Christian:
not when you only know the gospel, in your mind,
but when you also believe the gospel, in your heart/spirit.
Rom c10 v10
On believing – your heart/spirit becomes grateful
and so renews your mind:
1) Duplicates its belief into your mind
so that even your
mind believes.
2) Establishes the pattern of that belief,
the pattern of
the gospel, agape love,
throughout your
mind,
then:
your heart/spirit
& your mind
& God’s
Spirit inside you
become alike,
then
all three of you can live & work together
without
getting in each other’s way.
|
|
|
When all of your mind
is as Jesus’ mind:
o Full
of belief.
o Containing
no unbelief (doubts) about:
God’s
unconditional love for us
and
his great knowledge, wisdom, & power,
o Grateful
to, and allied to, God.
then
your mind is completely renewed:
Your un-renewed
mind saw the Lord’s prayer:
Matt c6 v12 (Luke c11
v4):
And forgive us
our debts,
as we forgive our
debtors. KJV
as true, literal, a deal:
the cause is in
you,
the effect is in
God.
But your renewed mind
sees the Lord’s prayer:
Matt c6 v12 (Luke c11
v4):
And forgive us
our debts,
as we forgive our
debtors. KJV
as wrong:
for, actually,
the cause is in
God,
the effect is in
you.
, Perhaps see later section: THE LORD’S PRAYER. , , , , ,
Your un-renewed mind
saw:
sins,
sickness & the natural world
as greater
than
God’s
love and power.
But your renewed mind
sees:
sins, sickness & the natural world
as weaker than
God’s love and power.
|
|
|
First, your heart/spirit
believes
that Jesus was Punished in
place of all of us.
Secondly, your
heart/spirit
starts to renew your mind
Then, ideally: your heart/spirit:
continues to renew
your mind
until it’s completely
renewed
so that your entire mind, as
well as your heart/spirit, believes..

Perhaps, for my definition of the word holy,
see earlier section: FIRST
COMPLAINT.,,,,,
Just
as there are two accounts,
Perhaps
see first two cells
of later section: THE TWO ACCOUNTS.
so also there are two kinds of holiness:
The Son’s willing self-sacrifice
in our place
God’s Forgiveness of all of
us,
made all of us holy
in the Father’s eyes & mind.
1 Pet c1 v18-19,,,
1 John c4 v9-10,,,
Hence the Father
was then able to:
o become a loving heavenly Father to all of
us
o give his Holy Spirit to all of us.
, , , , , , Though see
sixth cell (starting Mind you)
, , , , , , ,of earlier
section: THE LOGIC OF THE CROSS.
Then, when you’ve renewed
your mind,
you’ve made yourself actually holy.
1 Pet c1 v13-16,,,
1 John c2 v15-17,,,
1 John c4 v17,,,

Someone who has renewed their mind:
Is
constructive to the max:
Wants, above all,
to do natural & miraculous good.
Do whatever will have an eternally good effect.
Is not interested
in the world: it’s too temporary.
Rom
c12 v2:
And
be not conformed to this world:
but be
ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove
what is
that good, and acceptable, and perfect,
will of God. KJV
o Hears (from) God.
1 Cor c2 v16:
For
who hath known the mind of the Lord,
that
he may instruct him?
But
we have the mind of Christ.
KJV
o Adopts Jesus’ ways:
You love
everyone. Luke c10 v25-37
Even your
enemies. Matt c5 v38-48 Luke c6 v27-36.
So you’ve
forgiven everyone
for all they’ve
ever done to you Matt c18 v21-35.
Hence you are
like a child.
Matt c18 v1-3 (&
Mark c10 v13-16)
Luke c9 v46-48 (&
Mark c9 v36-37 &
Matt c18 v4-5)
Luke c10 v21 ,
Luke c18 v15-16 (Matt c19 v13-14)
You’ve got used to his voice,
i.e. the Spirit’s
voice,
, Perhaps see last two cells (starting The following
parable)
, of earlier section: THE BASIC MECHANICS.
and are
used to the ways he operates.
o Still has knowledge of the world
but no longer indulges in the world:
1 John c2 v15-17:
Love not the
world,
neither the
things that are in the world.
If any man love
the world,
the love of the
Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world,
the lust of
the flesh,
and the lust of
the eyes,
and the
pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of
the world.
And the world passeth away,
and the lust
thereof:
but he that doeth the will of God
abideth for
ever. KJV
All the above, in this cell,
about renewing your mind,
include repentance:
You used to walk
with the world,
were going in the
same direction as the world.
But now, you’ve
turned around
and walk with the
Spirit,
you are going in
the same direction as the Spirit.
(There’s no limit
to the number of times
you can repent.)
, See all
my notes
, to the Mark Hemans’ teaching:
, YouTube: – Spiritual sight and praying for the sick,,,,,
, and the links within it.
, (This link does not open a new tab.)
o Has faith in God (faith = belief acting):
Mark c11 v22-24 (Matt c21 v21-22):
And Jesus answering saith unto them,
Have faith in
God.
For verily I say
unto you,
That whosoever shall say unto
this mountain,
Be thou removed,
and be thou
cast into the sea;
and shall not doubt in his heart,
but shall believe that those things which he saith
shall come to
pass;
he shall have
whatsoever he
saith.
Therefore I say unto
you,
What things soever ye desire,
when ye pray,
believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have
them. KJV
o Lacks unbelief (doubts), in the mind:
Faith/belief,
certainly initially,
is in only your heart/spirit.
, , , , I.E. Later – your heart/spirit copies its faith/belief to your mind.
Whereas unbelief:
, , , , , o, All the knowledge you have about cancer.
, , , , , o, All the prayers you’ve never had answered.
, , , , , o, All the reasons you have
, , , , , , for thinking God does not love us
, , , , , , (when the cross proves that he does).
is only ever in your mind.
, , , , , , Perhaps see later section: UNBELIEF
, , , , , , and its subsections.
o Has
demons fearing them.
(Whereas before, when they
had an un-renewed mind,
they feared demons.)
, , See four gospels and Acts.

The Bible says that Christians should renew
their own minds,
not expect God to do it:
God may miraculously heals a brain.
But for him to renew your mind would mean you were a robot.
(It’s like stopping sinning is down to you, not down to God.)
Eph
c4 v23-24:
and
be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
and
that ye put on the new man,
which
after God
is
created in righteousness and true holiness. KJV
Col
c3 v9-10:
Lie not one to another,
seeing that ye have put off
the old man with his deeds;
and have put on the new man,
which is renewed in knowledge
after the image of him that
created him: KJV
|
|
|
.
|
|
|
If all this sounds
like hard work to you
bear in mind that God did the hard
bit.
God the Father let his only
begotten Son be crucified
and Jesus, that Son, endured
it.
We only have to believe it.
John c6 v28-29:
Then said they
unto him,
What shall we do,
that we might work
the works of God?
Jesus answered and said unto
them,
This is the work of
God,
that ye believe
on him whom he
hath sent. KJV
This was Jesus’ entire
answer.
Believe is all we need to do
(if you can call believing
doing).

DOING MIRACLES
|
|
If the Cross is anything to go by:
God is more keen:
to heal you
(& heal
others through you)
than you are keen:
for him to do it.
However, God’s Spirit inside
you
and you
are two separate persons.
This means that,
if you haven’t yet completely
renewed your mind,
then switch off, so as to make
yourself available
for God’s Spirit to, literally, use you.
|
|
Think of the Holy Spirit, in
you, as the Father’s tool
and yourself as the tool
bag.
Now imagine the job is not
DIY (rough)
but surgical (highly
detailed).
Now imagine the job is
supernatural, indeed miraculous.
Such invisible, precision,
supernatural, work
means all you need to do is:
1) Not sin at all, so as to be a home for the
Holy Spirit.
2) Do & say only whatever he tells you to
do & say.
, More women believers should do this.
, We men believers are often so full of our own thoughts
& intentions
, , that we get in God’s way.

WHAT
IS A RENEWED MIND: SOME DETAILS
|
|
|
Of the three parts of the soul (mind,
cultures, & emotions)
only mind & cultures need renewing.
See earlier section:
ABOUT CULTURES
and
diagram in later section: WILL. ,,,,,
To renew your mind:
, See later section: HOW TO RENEW YOUR MIND,
, and
, immediately after it: HOW TO RENEW YOUR
MIND: SOME DETAILS.
To renew your cultures:
Merely
dump or exchange wrong (parts of) culture(s).
(Cultures are
something we pick & choose anyway;
certainly we, in
the western world, have that luxury.)
Emotions don’t need
renewing.
That’s because emotions are:
Merely tools (or
even toys) of the mind.
Magnifiers,
amplifiers, increasers, of the mind;
pre-set by the
mind.
, Perhaps see later section:
, EMOTIONS STARTED AS QUICK-DECISION-ENGINES IN GOD,, , , ,
|
|
|
.
|
|
Your heart/spirit, in renewing
your mind,
changes you, fundamentally:
A renewed mind is not merely filled with new data:
still an earthly mind, but filled with biblical
knowledge,
struggling to give
earthly reasons for loving your enemy.
A renewed mind is also reconfigured functionally:
has, not only new
data, but also new processes.
, Hence you may be
less able to do worldly jobs.
, Luke c16 v8:
, ctd … for the
children of this world are
, in their generation
, wiser than the
children of light. KJV
|
|
|
Your-heart/spirit, and God’s-Spirit-within-you, combined,
has your mind
as its tool.
Your mind already has:
emotions
and cultures Perhaps again see earlier section: ABOUT
CULTURES.
as its tools.
Hence your-heart/spirit
and God’s-Spirit-in-you combined
ends up being in charge of all of you.
Your-heart/spirit and God’s-Spirit-in-you combined
is able to express itself unhindered.
|
|
|
The mind’s filter soul
the world the emotions’
filter your heart/spirit & God’s
Spirit combined renewed mind emotions pre-set by the mind
|
|
|
If all the grey, above, were all white,
i.e. if your heart/spirit had renewed all of your mind:
, , , 1) Duplicated its
belief into your mind
, , , , so that even your mind believes.
, , , 2) Established the pattern of that belief,
, , , , the pattern of
the gospel, agape love,
, , , , throughout your mind,
then your first response/reaction
to a big need/problem/disaster,
would be to pray or to command.
, See five cells (starting Jesus explains)
, in earlier section: WHY GOD’S
WORDS HAVE POWER.
, Perhaps see earlier section: REACTING AND RESPONDING, , .
|
|
|
.
|
|
In the
beginning,
God was:
entirely constructive.
, Perhaps see third
cell
, of earlier
webpage: God’s origin.
Then, during the Old Testament
age,
God was:
both constructive and destructive.
, Perhaps see
earlier webpage: The good & bad that God does.
Now, during this New Testament
age, this Church Age,
God is:
entirely constructive again.
, Perhaps see
earlier webpage: The Church Age, , , , , , .
|
|
|
If you:
are a believer
and so have God’s Spirit in your heart/spirit.
And if your heart/spirit:
has renewed your mind
accordingly
such that God’s Spirit
is in all of you.
Then you too:
are entirely constructive
forever.
