THE TWO BASIC KINDS OF SINS:
SPIRITUAL SINS & NATURAL SINS.

1) SPIRITUAL SINS

Before God had cursed the ground:
0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
      when we were still in the lush garden of Eden
                 & so had all our bodily needs met,
      and there were only two of us
                 so there was no possibility of adultery,
      before the tree of life became unavailable
                 so there was not yet the certainty of death, 
      Satan could tempt us to commit only spiritual sins:

                 pride; vanity; jealousy; hatred; unrighteous anger;
                 fear (when you know you should be trusting God);
,         ,         ,         Rom c14 v23: ctd … for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.   KJV

                 bitterness; fruitless regret; idolatry; etc,

                 sins that don’t need a body, only a self,

                 sins Satan is used to committing.
                 Indeed, the only sort of sins that Satan can commit.

      But now that we are under the pressures of:
                 limited resources
                 & a finite life, 
      Satan/demons can tempt us to commit:
                 natural sins too,

                 sins you need a body for,
                 sins no demon can commit.

1a) THE TWO UNFORGIVABLE SINS: BOTH SPIRITUAL.

Of the following two sins:

            A)  is commonly called “the unforgivable sin”

            but B) could also be thought of as an unforgivable sin.

A)  Permanently rejecting God’s Spirit,
calling God’s miracles “Satan’s work”:

I.E. Having convincingly heard/seen/read about God’s Spirit
so that you know, in your mind, that God heals us,
but have started to eternally refuse to believe it,
in your, presumably bad, heart/spirit.

            Matt c12 v22-32    (Mark c3 v22-30):
            Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil,
            blind, and dumb:
            and he healed him,
            insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
            And all the people were amazed, and said,
                 Is not this the son of David?
            But when the Pharisees heard it, they said,
                 This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub
                 the prince of the devils.
            And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them,
                 Every kingdom divided against itself
                 is brought to desolation;
                 and every city or house divided against itself
                 shall not stand:
                 And if Satan cast out Satan,
                 he is divided against himself;
                 how shall then his kingdom stand?
                 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils,
                 by whom do your children [followers] cast them out?
                 therefore they shall be your judges.
                 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God,
                 then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
                 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house,
                 and spoil [rob] his goods,
                 except he first bind the strong man?
                 and then he will spoil his house.
                 He that is not with me is against me;
                 and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.
                 Wherefore I say unto you,
                       All manner of sin and blasphemy
                       shall be forgiven unto men:
                       but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost
                       shall not be forgiven unto men.
                       And whosoever speaketh a word against
                       the Son of man,
                       it shall be forgiven him:
                       but whosoever speaketh against
                       the Holy Ghost,
                       it shall not be forgiven him,
                       neither in this world,
                       neither in the world to come.    KJV

B)  Permanently rejecting Jesus
despite seeing miracles & understanding the gospel:

I.E. Having convincingly heard/seen/read about God’s Son
so that you know, in your mind, that God has Forgiven our sins,
but have started to eternally refuse to believe it,
in your, presumably bad, heart/spirit.


            John c3 v36:
            He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life:
            and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life;
            but the wrath of God abideth on him.   KJV

            John c5 v22-23:
            For the Father judgeth no man,
            but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
            that all men should honour the Son,
            even as they honour the Father.
            He that honoureth not the Son
            honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.   KJV

            John c8 v24:
            I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins:
            for if ye believe not that I am he,
            ye shall die in your sins.   KJV

            John c12 v47-48:
            And if any man hear my words, and believe not,
            I judge him not:
            for I came not to judge the world,
            but to save the world.
            He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words,
            hath one that judgeth him:
            the word that I have spoken,
            the same shall judge him in the last day.   KJV

,         ,         So, merely speaking against Jesus – is forgivable.
,         ,         But actually rejecting Jesus – is unforgivable.

,         ,         Whereas merely speaking against God’s Spirit – is unforgivable.
,         ,         E.G. Speaking against a healing miracle that’s obviously of God.

Biblically:

            The above two kinds of unforgivable sins
            will send someone to Hell.

Technically:

            Unforgivable sins are not sins,
            are not actions that will send someone to Hell.

                       Unforgivable sins are the heart/spirit
                        finally revealing itself, finally expressing itself.

                       Unforgivable sins are not causes but effects:
                       effects, symptoms, of the wicked.

SO, WHY DID JESUS PHRASE THEM:
AS SINS,
AS CAUSES, NOT EFFECTS?

So, why did Jesus phrase unforgivable sins:

            as sins
            not as self-expression,

            as causes of punishment to come
            not as effects of bad hearts/spirits.

Because:
X)  The world has limited resources.
      And we each have concentric circles of selfishness
      and have to earn what we get.

                 So the world is very different from
                 the creative, constructive, self-sacrificing, generous, God
                 and his abundant kingdom of Heaven.

Y) During the three years of Jesus’ ministry:
                 crucifixion resurrection & Pentecost
                 had not yet happened.
      So those three years were:
                 New Testament
                 but not yet New Covenant

Combining X) and Y):

            During those three years, during Jesus’ ministry:
                       no-one, yet, truly understood/appreciated/‘saw’
                       God’s great mercy and grace towards us.
            But everyone still understood the world.

            Hence, so that everyone could understand God, at least a bit:
                       Jesus intuitively phrased many of his sayings
                       with the cause & effect the wrong way round,
                       the world’s way round.

            For example: the Forgiveness-deal, in the Lord’s Prayer,
            is a piece of Old Covenant logic:
                       It has the cause & effect the wrong way round,
                       the world’s way round.

            Likewise, Jesus called unforgivable sins just that, sins:
                       things you have done
                       that will cause you to be punished later.

                       Even the wicked could understand that,
                       never mind the still-worldly righteous.

2) NATURAL SINS

Natural sins, fleshly sins, need a body.

Hence natural sins are committed by humans, not by demons.

However:
            if a demon suggests a natural sin to you
            and you then commit it,
then the demon is gets:
            self-expression, satisfaction, ‘life’.

The demon gets self-expression:

            even though it’s only you committing it
            and the demon is merely providing suggestions.

            even though the guilt is yours
            and yours alone.

SINS ARE DIGITAL, NOT ANALOGUE,
AND ARE GOD’S MEASURE.

A sin does not have a size.
A sin is digital, not analogue.

            Hence a small sin is the same size as a big sin
            and a big sin is the same size as a small sin.

            Matt c5 v27-28:
            Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,
                  Thou shalt not commit adultery:
            but I say unto you,
                  That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her
                  hath committed adultery with her already
                 in his heart.   KJV

            Matt c5 v21-22:
            Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,
                  Thou shalt not kill;
                  and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
            but I say unto you,
                  That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause
                  shall be in danger of the judgment:
                  and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca,
                  shall be in danger of the council:
                  but whosoever shall say, Thou fool,
                  shall be in danger of hell fire.   KJV

Sins are digital, not analogue,
because God’s task will be digital, no analogue:
            He will let that person into Heaven.
            Or he will not let that person into Heaven.

To sin  =  to miss the moral target (as in archery).

Sins are God’s way of measuring us.

Social/cultural/civil/legal wrongs 
(horizontal; human to human)
are analogue:
            hence they vary greatly,
            from huge and serious
            to tiny and of little importance.

Sins
(vertical; us to God)
are digital:
            hence your smallest sin,
            in God’s eyes & mind,
            ruins you.

A social/cultural/civil/legal wrong
is a practical, useful, form of measurement:
            by one human
            of another human.

A sin
is an impractical, useless, form of measurement:
            by one human
            of another human.

Sins are God’s way of measuring us.

TECHNICALLY SPEAKING:
SINS NO LONGER EXIST

Most of us have, to some degree,
done wrong to others.

Most of us have also got angry
at wrongs done to us & to others.

God rarely gets involved in human affairs.
But he has opinions on all of them.
And his standards are high, indeed perfect.

BUT, INSTEAD, FIRST OF ALL, JESUS SEEMED TO MAGNIFY JEWISH LAWS.


Hence all our wrongs against each other
also offend our designer & maker.
All our wrongs against each other
are also sins.

Hence, technically speaking, we each have two accounts:

      1.   Our horizontal account, with the world:
            a debt of – social/cultural/civil/civil/legal wrongs.

      2.   Our vertical account, with God:
            a debt of – sins.

Our  social/cultural/civil/legal wrongs  are against people.

Our  sins  are against God.

But, two-thousand years ago,
God settled all our with-him accounts
using his Son’s willing self-sacrifice in our place.

So, now, our sins do not exist.
So, now, God cannot see them.

      So   our  social/cultural/civil/civil/legal wrongs   still exist,
      but   our  sins   do not exist.

      But do you believe it
      and do you believe it applies to you?
      Or do you insist on keeping your own righteousness?

,         Hence, technically speaking, the sinner’s prayer is wrong:
,         ,         It should not be:
,         ,         ,         God, please Forgive me for my sins.
,         ,         It should be:
,         ,         ,         God, thank you for having already Forgiven all of us, all of our sins, via the Cross.
,         ,         ,         I am one of those who believes it.

You might say:
      “Sins no longer exist in God’s eyes.
      But surely they still exist in our eyes.”

I say:
      “Sin is a word for God’s purposes only.

      What we call   sins
      are usually   social/cultural/civil/legal wrongs.
      But I’ll still often use the word   sin
      as indeed the New Testament often does.”

Sins are:
            always wrong, never right,
            usually bad, rarely good.

Wrongs are, likewise:
            always wrong, never right,
            usually bad, rarely good.

WHY CHRISTIANS AVOID SINNING

I can think of at least seven reasons
why a believer would want to not sin:

      1)  Because a believer
            needs and is grateful for:
                  o    God’s Forgiveness (by way of the Cross).
                 o    Miracles, healings, & blessings, in this life.
                 o    The help of God’s indwelling Holy Spirit.

                 o    A perfect, eternal, life to come.
                 o    The joy that all the above brings.
                 o    Etc.

      2)  Because a believer wants to do good, even miraculous good,
            as a matter of self-expression.
,         ,         Expression of your entire self, heart/spirit and soul
,         ,         (soul = mind + emotions + cultures).


      3)  Because if you, a believer, do sin
            then it gives demons the opportunity to
            telepathically accuse you of that sin    Rev c12 v10
            in order to trick you into being defensive:
                       into thinking, even saying,
                       that you did not do something wrong.    1 John c1 v8-10

                       Hence, for that crucial moment:
                             You forget, in your mind,
                              that God has put all of us right with himself.
                             Hence belief becomes inactive in your mind
                             and remains active in only your heart/spirit.

                        Hence, perhaps because
                       you are entangled in sin,  Heb c12 v1,

                       demons can give you a sickness, 
                       or succeed in encouraging you
                       to accept a natural sickness.

                        Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple,
                        and said unto him,
                             Behold, thou art made whole:
                             sin no more,
                              lest a worse thing come unto thee.   KJV

                       Luke c13 v16:
                       And ought not this woman,
                       being a daughter of Abraham,
                       whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years,
                       be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?   KJV

      4)  Because sinning:
                       Still allows mere happiness into your soul
                       from the outside.
                       But stops your heart/spirit copying its joy into your soul
                       from the inside.

      5)  Because sins may bring:
                       felt guilt

                       and, if the sin is a crime, a prison sentence.

      6)  Because, technically speaking:
                       even though sins no longer exist,
                       wrongs still still exist

                       and God’s Spirit,
                       who is inside you if you are a believer,
                       is grieved if you do wrong.  Eph c4 v22-32

                       The Cross has put all of us right with his Father.
                       Hence the Father can, and has,
                       given his powerful Holy Spirit to all of us.
                       So, make your mind a ‘house’
                       that’s uncluttered by:
                                   sinful ways,
                                   unbelief (doubts),
                                   earthly distractions,
                                   etc,
                       and God’s miracle-empowering Holy Spirit
                       can live in every room.

      7) In light of 1) – 6), it’s not surprising that
            sinning works against
            your heart/spirit renewing your mind.

            Of course ‘believers’
            (churchgoers who do not, actually, yet believe)
            avoid sinning in order to:
                       get themselves right with God
                       or
                       stay right with God.

GOD’S WORDS ON SIN

There are laws, in the Old Testament of the Bible,
that say that many things (including homosexual behaviour)
are punishable by death.  Lev c20 v9-16.

However, there is also a law, in the Old Testament,
that says that to pick up sticks to make a fire
(or indeed, to do any work)
on a Saturday, is punishable by death.
Exo c31 v12-15  &  Exo c35 v1-2  &  Num c15 v32-36  combined.
 
More to the point,
Old Testament laws don’t apply to Christians anyway.

Hence, regarding Christian behaviour,
I’ll ignore the Old Testament.

However, the New Testament also says
that homosexual behaviour
should not be allowed amongst Christians.
Rom c1 v13-32     1 Cor c6 v9-20    1 Tim c1 v1-10     Jude.

But, on inspection, regarding homosexual behaviour,
these New Testament scriptures are mostly about
homosexual step-off-the-cliff-edge promiscuity.
And that, being less than human,
is something right-thinking homosexuals also think wrong.

(Just as right-thinking heterosexuals also think
that heterosexual step-off-the-cliff-edge promiscuity
is less than human and therefore wrong.)

So, for a clear, New Testament, picture
let’s see what Jesus said
about sinful (or rather wrong) behaviour.

N.B. I think that Jesus, being God’s only begotten Son,
told God’s thoughts more authoritatively
than other parts of the Bible tell God’s thoughts.

So, where there is any difference, in letter or in spirit,
between what Jesus says and what other parts say:
            then the Jesus parts are right
            and the other parts are wrong.

 

I don’t mean Old / New Covenant differences, differences that should be there.

During the three years leading up to the Cross,
while sins still existed,

God the Son, God incarnate,
God in human form, Jesus:

            Forgave people their sins on an individual basis, 
            dealt with people on an individual basis,
            did not Forgive everyone.   Luke c23 v39-43 , , ,

            Even though Jesus dealt with many people
            there is only one instance where he told someone
            to stop sinning.
            And even that was only to stop the person
            suffering further.   John c5 v5-14,,,,,

,         ,         I ignore John c8 v3-11, where Jesus tells a woman, caught committing adultery, 
,         ,         to stop sinning.  I ignore it because I reckon it’s forged.

            Other than that one instance, Jesus never told people
            to stop sinning.

            He only ever:
                       proved he was God 
                       and accepted them.

            They then:
                       spontaneously changed

,,        ,         Jesus did lecture the ‘religious’,

Jesus did not condemn the sexually immoral to Hell.
Mark c14 v1-9     Luke c15     John c4 v1-42 

But he did condemn those who judge others, as if they were God,
to Hell.     Matt c23 See v33.     Matt c5 v20,,,,,

If you want more than to be ‘merely’ accepted,
if you want to also:

      a)   o    Get demons out of you.
,         ,         ,         Other believers can help you, or do that for you (e.g. Mark Hemans).
            o    Have God’s Holy Spirit live in every room of your mind,
                 every area of your life.
            o    Do miracles, in Jesus’ name.
,         ,         ,         ‘Do’ is the verb used in the KJV.

then you’ll have to:

      b)  Renew your mind,
            have the same way of thinking that Jesus had & has:
                 live purely, do only good never bad,
                 forgive all those who’ve hurt you,
                 love all those who hate you
                 including praying for good things for them,
            be entirely constructive.

and the only way you can do a) and b)
is to realise that:

            o    Jesus has already lived that way
                 as an example for us to follow

and to realise that:

            o    Jesus is human yet God,
                 the Son of a woman and God,
                 and suffered and died in our place
                 putting all of us right with his Father.

                 Hence:

                       o    The Father was able to offer his Holy Spirit
                             to all of us,
                             to live & work, in and through,
                             whoever wants him.   Luke c11 v5-14,,,,, 

                       o    Jesus’ Father has become our Father too:
                             hence we are able to ask him for good things
                             and he is willing to give them.   Matt c7 v7-12,,,,

THE ORIGIN OF HOMOSEXUALITY ETC

An animal has a personality that is mostly shaped by its body:
            Tigers are aggressive.
            Rabbits are timid.
            Alligators are not to be messed with.
            Etc.

But a human has a personality
that grows independently of the body,
does not always match the growing body:

            A delicately built woman may have a forceful personality.
            A big muscley man may have a sensitive personality.

            Likewise the sexual psychology may not match the body
            hence some people are homosexual.

            Why should our brains always match our bodies?

            Unlike animals, we humans artificially preserve
            a staggering variety of genes in our gene pool.

            Animal generations automatically tend to preserve
            only the most successful genes:
                       Zebras daren’t change their camouflage stripes.
                       Giraffes daren’t shorten their tree reaching necks.
                       Etc.

            But we humans are eternal.
            So we became alpha predators.       See early webpages.

            So, without genetic restrictions:
                       our gene pool became unnaturally large
                       and unnaturally random.

IDEAL DESIGN

God’s design of:
            the material of the universe
            therefore of nature
            therefore of us
was, and still is, second class:

            We, unwittingly, forced God
            to make the universe second class.

Hence God does not much like nature,
sees nature as not ideal, as second class,
as indeed it is.

            Many people have nature as their main framework,
            even their only framework.

            Or they even idolise nature.

            But that’s only because they don’t yet know God.

God designed
the material of the universe
therefore of nature
therefore of us
to produce two biological sexes
to produce children.

But a homosexual couple:

            Cannot produce children
            (hence nature produces
            only a small percentage of homosexuals).

            And their relationships are not the same
            as the relationship their bodies were designed for:

                       Their minds match each other.
                        But their bodies do not.

            Many people judge what’s right or wrong by:
                       The seen
                       not the unseen. 
                       The action
                       not the motive.
                       The physical
                       not the heartfelt & mental.
                       The outer
                       not the inner.

            Hence they’d judge a married homosexual couple:
                       as wrong – because of what they do
                       not as right – because they are married.

To conclude:

            Miracles aside, homosexuality is not a thing
            that you can switch off.

            The apostle Peter was psychopathic:

            Peter, though standing next to Jesus
            and having heard all of Jesus’ preaching
            on loving your enemies,
            tried to cut someone’s head off.
                 Though Peter was a fisherman, he had a sword,
                 and cut off the ear of one of those sent to arrest Jesus.
                 He was probably aiming for the head or neck
                 since it’s hard to cut off an ear.
                 And the sword was sharp
                 so Jesus’ command to stop was timely.

            Acts c5 v1-10:
            Peter, by the power of God’s Spirit,
            punished Ananias & Sapphira, for lying to God,

            when, by the power of God’s Spirit,

            I reckon that there are things about us,
            like:
                       o    Psychopathy.
                       o    Autism.
                       o    Asperger’s.
                       o    & many other human qualities.
            that:
                       o    Are natural in origin
                             even though they have no natural purpose.
                       o    You cannot get rid of if you wanted to.
                             So you accept it, see it as part of you.
                             So you manage it.
            and that homosexuality is one of those things.

To conclude: homosexuals:

            o    Though very different from most people,
                 are people,
                 and therefore deserve:
                             equal dignity,
                             equal status,
                             and equal acceptance.
            o    Conversely, they should not,
                 because they are homosexuals,
                 be feared or bullied.
            o    Cannot change others.
            o    Cannot even change themselves.

A practicing homosexual can be:
            a Christian,
            saved,
            destined for Heaven and knows it.

For Christianity is not about your performance.

            Christianity is about you believing that:
                       God has Forgiven all sins
                       by way of Jesus’ crucifixion.
                       I.E. God has put all of us right with himself.

            And, due to believing the above,
            you change:
                        Become ever more constructive.
                       And, renewing your mind, & having God’s Spirit,
                       ever more potent in that constructiveness.

But, though you can stay a practicing homosexual,
you won’t want to stay a practicing homosexual.

Not in your heart/spirit:

            In your heart/spirit you will want to change.

            (Actually, we all change anyway, radically,
            when we become believers, and from then on.)

GAY CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE

Should a homosexual couple
be allowed to marry in church?

           I don’t know:

           However, we:
                 1.   XY & XX chromosomes
                 2.   heterosexual
                 3.   cisgender
           people
           have designed the world around ourselves.

            So, if a homosexual couple want to marry in church
            because they are believers,
            and the leaders are satisfied that they are believers,

           that homosexual marriage is acceptable to God?
           We don’t know.

           Even gay believers disagree on gay marriage.

Church is no place to ‘be yourself’:
Unless, of course, you’ve renewed your mind.

 
            It would be wrong, in a church meeting, for:
                       a heterosexual Christian man to swagger,
                       a Christian woman to promote her charms,
                       a gay Christian man to flirt.

            We are all there only because:
                       a man, whose parents were God and a woman,
                       was willing to be slowly tortured to death
                       to make the rest of us humans
                       become, in his Father’s eyes & mind,
                       as if we’d never done any wrong.

            The Father’s & Son’s act of love towards us
            was brutal, bloody, and effective.

            The resulting powerful Holy Spirit’s indwelling of us
            is gentle, polite, and produces miracles.

            Speaking & singing at church
            is a distinct opportunity
            to focus on the above three persons of God.

            Hence it’s wrong when we waste that opportunity
            by focussing on our love for each other
            which is what I suspect happens in some LGBT Churches.

            Human love for each other & kindness towards each other:

                       Means much in the world
                       but nothing to God.

                       It has not saved us
                       and will not miraculously bless & heal us.
 
                       But his love for us does both.

TO HETEROSEXUAL

            I reckon that:

            And I reckon that God thought
            that using those qualities
            would be more effective, for ministry,
            than ripping them out
            (which proved to be the case).

            Nor did God prompt them
            to ask him to change those qualities;
            did not give them the vision for such a miracle,
            since it did not happen.

            Hence I reckon that God
            does not generally want to miraculously change
            non-heterosexuals into heterosexuals.

            However, if you want to miraculously change
            from gay to straight,
            and
            if you believe Jesus’ words, in the next four cells,
            then
            God will do it (or will tell you why not).

A polygamous marriage
is where a man has more than one wife (or vice versa).

Polygamy is wrong because it:
            increases the marriage’s earthly complexity
            but decreases its Godlike complexity:

            The marriage cannot become a special relationship
            because there are many relationships.

                       Repeatedly casually divorcing & remarrying.

                       Having sequential girlfriends/boyfriends.
                       Sexually-active dating.

You may say:
            “Surely living together, as man and wife,
            but without the bit of paper, is OK with God.”
I say:
            “That’s merely one, or the both, of you
            keeping the back door open.  Says it all.”

Pornography is a portrayal of loveless sexual relationships
that are temporary & shallow.
Porn is a carnal version of Heaven.

Those who don’t yet know God may see that as a compliment.
But those who know God know that porn lowers you.

      Just like:
            Earth is lower than Heaven,
            imperfection is lower than perfection,
            selfishness is lower than love,
      so also:
            porn is lower than a covenant marriage,
            an “I’ll stay with you for better or for worse” marriage.

Jesus certainly said that singles watching porn

Some individuals, who are married,
say that pornography makes up for what their marriage lacks.

would argue that porn helps their marriage.
Perhaps, instead:

            If you’re getting on in years
            &/or are not as attractive as you’d like to be:
            have sex with the lights down,
            make it sensual rather than visual.

I reckon that, if you are
a straight man, or a straight woman,
and you were asked, on a form, or on the phone,
      “Are you male or female?”
and you responded correctly,
that you probably thought you responded
because of your body.

But not so.

You didn’t think: “I’ve seen, or felt, my body.”
 
You think: “I know I’m a man
because I’m a thin teenager and want some muscle”
or “because I look good in a suit but have a comb-over.”

Likewise: “I know I’m a woman
because I’m a teen who’s finding it hard to attract a man”
or “because of my family life & my kids.”

Where did all this angst, or joy, or satisfaction, or etc, come from?
It’s not in your body; your body doesn’t care less.
It’s in your mind.

You responded that you’re a man, or a woman:
      Not because of your body, now.
      But because of a large identity, that formed slowly,
      in your mind.

You may also think that you must be
a heterosexual man, or a heterosexual woman,
because:
      Whatever made your body
      also made
      the beginnings of your brain.

      So it must have made them match each other.

But I say that’s just a coincidence:

An animal has a personality
that is mostly shaped by its body:
            Tigers are aggressive.
            Rabbits are timid.
            Alligators are not to be messed with.
            Etc.

But a human has a personality
that grows independently of the body,
does not always match the growing body:

            A delicately built woman may have a forceful personality.
            A big muscley man may have a sensitive personality.

            Likewise the sexual psychology may not match the body
            hence some people are homosexual.

            Why should our brains always match our bodies?

            Unlike animals, we humans artificially preserve
            a staggering variety of genes in our gene pool.

            Animal generations automatically tend to preserve
            only the most successful genes:
                       Zebras daren’t change their camouflage stripes.
                       Giraffes daren’t shorten their tree reaching necks.
                       Etc.

            But we humans are eternal.
            So we became alpha predators.       See early webpages.

            So, without genetic restrictions:
                       our gene pool became unnaturally large
                       and unnaturally random.

            To conclude:

                       Biological sex forms in the body.

                       Sexual orientation forms in the brain.

                       Gender identity forms in the brain.

            Usually the three coincide.
            But not always.

People in Saudi Arabia (see above) wouldn’t make this up
knowing that it can get them physical punishment,
long prison sentences, or even get executed.

Some transgenders have a condition called gender dysphoria.

            Gender dysphoria is:
                 1.   an absolute need to change biological sex
                 2.   that’s never going to go away.
            (Medically predicting 2. is the clever bit.)

Changing sex physically, with hormones & surgery, 
(as best as physical sex can be changed)
is, logically:
            Not satisfactorily reversible if it turns out to be a mistake.
            Not without risks even if it’s the right thing to do.

            Hence only those with gender dysphoria
            should surgically transition.

Extremely few people have gender dysphoria.

                 0.01% male-to-female
                 0.0025% female-to-male.

                       0.8% of transgender men (female-to-male)

Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner, had gender dysphoria.

Back when he was a man, he had it treated (if that’s the word)
by having himself transitioned, using hormones & surgery.

As well as being an example of surgically transitioning,
Bruce, now Caitlyn, shows us the difference between  
sexual orientation  and  gender identity:

            He (now she) changed his body from male to female
            because his gender identity always was, and still is, female.

            But his sexual orientation always was, and still is, male.
            He always was, and still is, attracted to only women.

This shows us the strength of gender identity:
            Bruce’s gender
            forced him to change his biology
            even though it would mess up
            his orientation.

            “Aha.  Bruce didn’t change sex until the end of
            (or near the end of)
            a long, heterosexually married, life.
But I say:
            “It must have been, for him,
            an inwardly flawed married life.”

Actually, she is bisexual,

she is choosing to live only heterosexually.

A person’s identity is the biggest thing in their life:

            So your biggest identity may be 
            your gender identity
            followed by your sexual orientation.

            Though it could be your politics, or your physique, or looks,
            or something else you could never do without,
            followed by your gender, then your orientation.

            If you were a brainy asexual
            then it may be intellect first, gender second,
            and orientation not even on the list.

            It’s whatever you cannot do without.

            For a believer, who has renewed their mind,
            first on the list is: in Christ.

Miracles aside, it’s right
for someone who has gender dysphoria
(an absolute need to change biological sex
that’s never going to go away)
to change their lives, and even their bodies, accordingly.

A person, from four years old upwards,
knows, increasingly clearly,
whether they have gender dysphoria or not.

Gender forms at about four years old.
Orientation forms at puberty.

(Hence school books for pre-pubescent children:
should include issues regarding gender
but should never include issues regarding orientation.)

However:
      o    Pushy mums (pushing either way).
      o    Pushy teachers (pushing either way).
      o    Schoolmates (to impress or to fear).
      o    You wanting to get likes & not get cancelled.
      o    Listening to well-meaning, over-enthusiastic, LGBT folk.
      o    Listening to well-meaning, anti-trans, religious folk.
      o    The left, wrongly thinking, that there’s no limit
            to the number of people
            who could rightly surgically transition.
      o    The right, wrongly thinking,
            that ino-one should ever
            surgically transition.
all make it less clear
as to whether you have gender dysphoria or not.

In addition:
      o    Latent homosexuality.
,         ,         It’s only logical that someone
,         ,         who will grow up to be a feminine gay man
,         ,         would have felt like a girl
,         ,         when they were a child.
      o    Temporary pubescent confusion.
      o    Body dysmorphic disorder.
      o    Autism.
      o    Abuse in childhood.
      o    Etc.
also make it less clear
as to whether you have gender dysphoria or not.

Hence, what should be easy becomes a minefield.

Bear in mind that extremely few people have gender dysphoria.

            0.0025%  female-to-male.

Logically, if you go through puberty,
and then consider
whether it had been the wrong puberty,
you’d see, for certain,
whether you have gender dysphoria.

But puberty is bad enough without it being the wrong puberty.
So perhaps it’s best to surgically transition before puberty.

However, surgically transitioning, say male-to-female,
before puberty:

            1.   Leaves the surgeon with little (perhaps insufficient)
                 to work with.

            2.   Means you’ll never have an orgasm
                 due to never having had testosterone in your body.

Conclusion:

            9% of non-LGBT youth have attempted suicide,
            18% of LGBT youth have attempted suicide.

            Going through the wrong puberty
            would obviously increase it to above 18%.
            Therefore not going through the wrong puberty
            will not increase it to above 18%.

            However, 18% is still high.

            So, I suggest, certainly if it’s male-to-female:
                 Going through the wrong puberty,
                 but with family and friends giving rock-solid support.
                 Then, if you still want surgery, do it.

Many in the LGBT community
are renowened for their creative & social skills.
It’s not really a community.  But it is a distinct group.


Hence they are well placed to defend members of their group.
And rightly so.

            Members of the LGBT group are different.

                       Hence many are rejected.

But some LGBT activists,
who may well not, themselves, even be LGBT,
have insensitive motives:

They treat:

            Those who’ve successfully transitioned
            as a good advert – people to be embraced.

            Regretters and detransitioners
            as a bad advert – people to be rejected.

This makes matters worse.

If, in YouTube, you enter:
            ‘transition regret’
            or: ‘detransition’,
you’ll see an increasing number of broken young people,
who had (& still have) various psychological/social problems,
but were given, by adults as well as peers, the single solution:
            “You have gender dysphoria
            and surgically transitioning will fix it.”

So they, mistakenly, changed their biological sex.

shows that only 1% of the transitioners
actually regret transitioning.

However, the fact that a third of the transitioners
didn’t report back at all
shows that it’s probably higher than 1%.

Not transitioning youngsters
who do have gender dysphoria
leads to dissatisfaction, even suicide.

But transitioning youngsters
who don’t have gender dysphoria
also leads to dissatisfaction, even suicide.

            If say, two girls & one boy, in a school of 3,000,
            decide to transition – that’s 0.1% of the school.

            The two girls are 0.066% of the school.

            But, globally, only 0.0025% ftm have gender dysphoria.

            So, if the two girls surgically transitioned
            then such a school would have
            26.4 times too many girls transitioning
            than should have transitioned.

            This is OK if the school is thought of as an exception.

            But, if all other schools strove to imitate this school,
            and succeeded in doing so,
            then the percentage of transition regretters
            would increase from: 1% of all transitioners
            to: 26.4% of all transitioners.

Transgender people:

      o    Though very different from most people,
            are people,
            and therefore deserve:
                       equal dignity,
                       equal status,
                       and equal acceptance.
      o    Conversely, they should not,
            because they are transgender,
            be feared or bullied.
      o    Cannot change others.
      o    Cannot even change themselves.

A transgender man or transgender woman can be:
            a Christian,
            saved,
            destined for Heaven and knows it.

For Christianity is not about your performance.

            Christianity is about you believing that:
                       God has Forgiven all sins
                       by way of Jesus’ crucifixion.
                       I.E. God has put all of us right with himself.

            And, due to believing the above,
            you change:
                       Become ever more constructive.
                       And, renewing your mind, & having God’s Spirit,
                       ever more potent in that constructiveness.

            A married transgender person who believes:
                       because they believe,
                       will definitely go to Heaven.

            But a married transgender person who believes,
            and has renewed their mind,
            may yet find their transgenderism

            a form of doubt,

THE HEART/SPIRIT, THE SOUL, AND SEX

Some Christians say that the first time you have sex
you join together, spiritually.

But I reckon that this is a:

            People centred doctrine,
            a human soul centred doctrine.

            Not a God centred doctrine
            nor a human heart/spirit centred doctrine.

            When a couple have sex they become one flesh
                       Gen c2 v24:
                       Therefore shall a man leave
                       his father and his mother,
                        and shall cleave unto his wife:
                       and they shall be one flesh.   KJV

            But they do not become one heart/spirit.
                       Hearts/spirits cannot blend with each other,
                       cannot become one.
,         ,         ,         ,         A being is an eternal self-teaching structure.
,         ,         ,         ,         So two beings cannot become one being.


            Joining flesh is of no eternal consequence anyway:

MARRY OR STAY SINGLE?

Paul writes that being single is a gift, 1 Cor c7 v1-17,  
just like being happily married is a gift.

You may ask:
            “How can being single be a gift?”

I say:
            “In biblical times & places, leading Christians were:
                       stoned to death,
                       crucified,
                       fed to the lions, or burnt alive, in the Circus Maximus,
                       boiled in oil,
                       etc.
            So Paul’s advice to stay single was right, for there & for then.

            Also, Christians then, who were serious about God,
            wouldn’t be bothered with
            all the things people usually fill their lives with.
            For Christianity was new, and fast growing.
            It was so impactful
            that they thought they were in the End Times,
            thought that the world would soon end.

            Also there was natural good to do,
            out of self-expression:
                       of believers
                       & of God’s indwelling Spirit.

            And there were miracles to do:
                       for the same reasons as above
                       and because miracles validated the gospel.

            And the gospel to preach:
                       for there were no Bibles.

            Hence, being single,
            in those times & places,
            was as a gift.”

These days:

            In parts of the world
            where there is much persecution,
            being single is a gift.

            Whereas in parts of the world
            where there is little/no persecution,
            being married is a gift.

WHY THROW AWAY THE PRESENTS?

God can fix so much in our lives.  Anything really.

            If you, and God,
            both think
            that something, say some part of your body,
            is wrong, or not as good as it could be,
            and if you believe
            and have no unbelief (doubts),
            then pray, or command, in Jesus’ name,
            for the thing to be fixed or improved
            and God will do it.

            Doing all this is merely your duty.  Luke c17 v7-10,,,,

The above list of hardship commands
does not contain a reward of any kind,
in this life or the next.
Hence the Beatitudes, for example, are not in the list.


Each one of them is: Lose out in this life – for no reason.

            There is no earning, no reward.
            So they are not part of Judgment.

            So, if they are done out of anything,
            they are done out of gratitude from having been Forgiven.
            They are part of Forgiveness.

            I.E. These hardship commands
            assume you’ve already become a believer
            (even though Jesus said them before Pentecost).

            Indeed, they assume:
                       not only that you’ve become a believer,
                       but a believer who’s renewed your mind.

            In which case you’d do miracles.

            John c7 v37-39:
            In the last day, that great day of the feast,
            Jesus stood and cried [out], saying,
                 If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
                 He that believeth on me,
                 as the scripture hath said,
                 out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
                 (But this spake he of the Spirit,
                 which they that believe on him should receive:
                 for the Holy Ghost was not yet given;
                 because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)   KJV

            These verses speak of God’s Holy Spirit,
            God’s power, God’s muscle,
            inside a believer, coming out of a believer.

            I reckon that God’s Forgiveness and the Holy Spirit
            are the pearl of great price,
            the hidden treasure:
            the thing that turns out to be
            worth neglecting every earthly pleasures for,
            even every right earthly pleasure.  Matt c13 v44-46,,,

                       Forgiveness & the Spirit satisfy:
                                   the good heart/spirit
                                   & the renewed mind,
                       which are eternal.

                       Whereas earthly pleasures satisfy:
                                   only the body
                                  & the un-renewed mind,
                       which are temporary.

            Forgiveness & the Spirit
            are nonsense to the bad heart/spirit.

            Hence the pearl & treasure verses  Matt c13 v44-46,,,
            are nestled amongst
            Judgment verses
            Matt c13 v24-30   Matt c13 v36-43   Matt c13 v47-50.,,,
